Teachers
Help in obtaining, then providing, STEAM training, and speaking, in different foundation events, programs, or activities. Furthermore, teachers are required to learn the foundation programs and plans deeply to be able to train other volunteers as needed and to be able to represent The Foundation at speaking events. Teachers are also encouraged to:
- Establish and maintain relations with schools
- Oversee any school programs
- Be the liaison for schools to request support
- Organize student events, competitions, or awards
Accounting/Finance
Help maintain the organization finances and provide the trustees with reports on a regular basis. The volunteer will help in book-keeping and will work closely with the Foundation outside accounting firm to prepare annual tax returns, and any other formal reports.
Events Planning Volunteer
Work closely with the executive director and the board to plan and help execute events for the foundation. This includes the annual Foundation reception, webinars, fund-raising events, social gatherings, and any other events.
Fund Raising Volunteer
Create programs to raise funding for the foundation. Reach out to donors via social media and other methods. Help prepare fund raising initiatives and materials and manage communications with donors.
Content Contributor
Help research and present content and ideas to help our audience learn and improve. Content can be in the form of research, blogs, articles, or simply ideas and suggestions. Also, the volunteer should help keep the foundation marketing content up to date by suggesting ongoing improvements.
Social Media Expert
Manage all aspects of the social media for the foundation including the website, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts.
Ambassador
